God Jul/Merry Christmas to all my lovely readers. Yes its that time of year come around again, for me Christmas was rushed& pushed up in 24hrs. None of us was ready is really wanted to embrace it but I think we did a good job considering the circumstances.

Myself& Ineba decorated the gingerbread house& backed the gingerbread biscuits, its a family tradition we do every year since I can remember.

Yes we do celebrate the 24th& the 25th but I do much prefer the Scandi Christmas then the British maybe cos my family made more of a fuss about it& we went home to Norway every year to celebrate with Mormor& Morfar. (back in the day past 4yrs we've stayed home)

I love how my perants have their own day& cooking tradition, I'm very thankful that both my folks wanted us too experience the Norsk& British culture of Christmas. I bit greedy but we open are main gifts on Christmas eve then from the British relative on Christmas day. (:

My family are the kindest& most genourse people for I know, what has happened this year from the bottom of their hearts they have pulled out the bag anther beautiful Christmas.

We weren't brought up on Santa Clause but the Christmas mice in the loft. (Jul mus på lofte) Its family time& not what do I get time. This is the first year I've finally seen what Christmas is& who certain aspects of it has been ruined& commercialized with branded sh*t!

For 2days has a family we can eat, play, laugh, smile& forgot anything else that is going on& thats what makes it so magical for me that as a group we can get on with out the drama.

I really hope you all have a wonderful Christmas& that Santa was good to you all! (: x

I love the snow but the second batch has fallen& has distributed everything! (again) I hate it how the UK or mainly Aberdeen can't coup with it! M had to spend 2 days in Copenhagen cos the airport was closed. Christ in Scandinavia& Russia they strut they're stuff through it yet here there like a thing layers of white stuff every one goes into panicking buying its insane& shuts down.

Its getting closer to Christmas, the sales are kicking in& some starting a week earlier then most... I've not really been shopping for myself due the the ques of c*nting xmas shoppers plus I pretty much did all my shopping in a day cos I can't deal with the false Merry Bloody Christmas atmosphere that retail has created for itself. (yea I know I'm in the wrong job not by first choice I must stress) I guess I have turned into the Grinch but this year with will all the sh*t that has gone on I've had no interested, just wish it would hurry up& be done with!

The only thing that has kinda kept myself festive is what out I shall be wearing on Julaften (Christmas eve) either a dress or a tux? (sad I know 'sighs') Not 100% sure but I'm swaying more to the dress tweaked since its my second altered piece I've done& not to brag but I think I've done a pretty darn good job of it. (:

Just a quick random post at 04:53am! Just shoot bolt up about 20mins ago& can't go back to sleep now. =/ Sorry for the lack of posts lately have been tres busy with my Tante being over from Norway& a few private matters to be sorted. So last night I spent the eve after work at my fav place to go hang out at Kil:au. Ugh it's been a cold damp this week so lots of layering, big knits in& out the house. So today I thought I would treat myself to a new pair of ankle boots nothing to fancy just a nice black pair with a buckle from Office. Been needing new black footwear for a while& these seem to fit the bill.

I must say I not a huge fan of what work has got this session but I can't get out of this cardi pretty much been sleeping in it since I first laid eyes on it it del late one Mon night. It's no longer up on the web but I'm sure it's still in store (crd cardi boyf shawl) (:

So Nov has finally landed upon us& with that not long to my bday or 13 days to be exact! Hint hint... Yep I'm gona be 22 wow... Really don't want to get any older quite happy to stay 21! Ta. On anther note in true Scottish style the weather pissed it down today& the wind blow right through my wee bones this morn. Brrr... So I went for more comfort then style to work, for me at the moment its all about keeping toasty& comfy. Sadly I'm not loving the clothes at work so its all last season pieces for me mixed with other brands, Shh..

Not long to Halloween guys&the clocks go back tomorrow in the UK so its defiantly winter. Time to grab your chunky knits& layer up for those chilly nights. Sadly I won't be dressing up or going out on Sun, my costume plan was to dress up as Max from 'Where the Wild Things are'. I did have the whole outfit planed however I just needed to get my hands on either an white onesie or a snuggie!? But my first idea was just to buy some white fleecy fabric& just sow it all myself. Although I'll just save this idea for anther costume occasion. (:

I do dream of growning my very own antlers.

Whilst browsing through my fav blogs I came across this post on Kingdom Of Style about a label called Rich in Craft who have designed a line of wool bags with antlers. As some you guys my know that I have a small soft spot for antlers...

The days are getting shorter, the nights are longer& its getting a hell of a lot colder. The odd thing is that I wear more dresses& skirts in Autumn/Winter time then I would in summer. As long as I can remember I have been doing this, fact is that I feel more comfortable with layered chunky knits& boots with a dress/skirt then I do bear skinned. But Never in a million years did I think I would jump on the maxi band wagon! A) I thought I was too short& B) If I can't pull off a short dress then why a floor length one? I know it was a hug summer trend but I'm happy to say that it is still big for fall.
