...Timing isn't my strong suit.

The film is about King George VI (Colin Firth) who became king after his brother abdicates. Troubled by a dreaded stammer& considered unfit to be king, 'Bertie' engages the help of an unorthodox speech therapist named Lionel Logue (Geoffrey Rush). Through a set of unexpected techniques& as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country through war.

Lionel Logue: What was your earliest memory?
King George VI: I'm not... -here to discuss... -personal matters.
Lionel Logue: Why are you here then?
King George VI: Because I bloody well stammer!

The film is beautifully shot& the costumes are amazing, secretly yes I'm a big Colin Firth fan. If you have a free night go& see it you won't regret it. Its very British& shows the the real struggle& pressure of the royal family, it was very harsh& hard at that time.

His medals remind me of one I waited for a year for it was that bad I even printed a pic of it that was on my wall. (Yes I'm that sad) then as a leaving gift the flat mate was kind enough to get me it! (:
